The Objective

In January of this year I had approximately $1000 in my betfair account. Round the same time my wife and I finalised plans to construct a house. In order to partly help pay the house loan, my intention has been to grow my bank size to $10000 by the end of the year at a monthly growth of 20%. My plan is to not withdraw any money till I reach that figure. If I do, then from January 2009 onwards, I hope to withdraw $2000 per month to help pay off the house loan. This is based on the assumption that if I can grow at 20% a month throughout this year, I should be able to make $2000 a month next year with a bank of $10000.
